Language Arts: 

6^th Grade: Finished R and E’s.  Wrote a debatable claim about eating turkey or to not eat turkey. The students had many interesting ideas.

5^th Grade: Same as 6^th grade

Homework:

Social Studies:  Shared our writing piece and lesson 4 tests were returned.

Homework: Get two addresses for possible donations for Project Cope.

6^th Grade: Worked on our argument essay. Students worked on writing a debatable claim.

5^th Grade: Same as 6^th grade

• Read nightly
• November R and E is due on Monday, November 25^th
• 5^th Grade will be taking an adjective quiz tomorrow 

Social Studies:  Went over review and studied for lesson 4 test.

Homework:

• Start to study for lesson 4 test.  The test will be on Friday, November 22^nd.
• Go to www.learntci.com and complete the Challenge Activity by Friday.  This is another review for the test. 

Reminders:

• Ger report card signed and returned for a grade tomorrow

Language Arts: 

6^th Grade: Worked on our argument essay. The students looked at the prompt and found the important verbs and requirements for the essay. This final writing piece will be completed after Thanksgiving.  We also continued with our read aloud, Crash.  

5^th Grade: Same as 6^th grade

Homework:

• Read nightly
• November R and E is due on Monday, November 25^th

Social Studies:  Worked with a partner to create a review for lesson 4.  The students will be getting their review tomorrow and will work on it during class tomorrow.  The review will be due on Thursday.

Homework:

• Start to study for lesson 4 test.  The test will be on Friday, November 22^nd.
