Language Arts: 

6^th Grade: Wrote a reflection response regarding the first marking period. We also completed a post narrative assessment.

5^th Grade: Same as 6^th grade

Homework:

• Read nightly
• November R and E is due on Monday, November 25^th
• Grammar packets are due on Monday.

Social Studies:  Finished activity with Native Americans and was assigned a three paragraph essay about the readings.

Here are the following requirements and this essay is due tomorrow.

Write THREE paragraphs  in CURSIVE explaining……

·         In what ways are the Native American nations alike

·         In what ways are the Native American nations different?

·         Write a conclusion paragraph

6^th Grade: Students turned in their spelling and took their spelling test. They also received a grammar packet that is due next Monday, November 18^th, 2013.

6^th Grade: Students received their narrative writing piece.  They wrote a narrative on Criterion.  If they did not finish this piece, they will need to finish for homework.  We also had a book talk for our class book club.  The students will need to decide on the book they would like to read. Please return the sheet with  your choice by Monday, November 11^th.

5^th Grade: Same as 6^th grade

• Book club preference sheet due 11-11-13

Social Studies:  We took part in a Colonial Williamsburg live interactive  presentation.
