6^th Grade: Worked on narrative writing.  Remember to make sure you are ready to commit to a narrative piece tomorrow.

5^th Grade:  Same lesson as 6^th.

Social Studies: Worked on Native American reading.

6^th Grade: Worked on independent reading and connecting with characters. Students received a pronoun packet.  These are due on Monday, October 19^th.

5^th Grade:  Same lesson as 5^th grade. Received a verb packet. These are due on Monday, October 19^th.

Social Studies Read  Students presented their current events. They also received their test from lesson 2. They did an evaluation sheet of their performance and these need to be signed and returned on Wednesday.

• We also began lesson 3 and read about a particular native American tribe

          Homework: 

·         Look for articles for your current event

·         Lesson 2 test evaluation sheet needs to be signed and returned on 10-14-15

Social Studies Read  Went over lesson 2 review.  Begin our current events assignment.  Students did a practice article in class and are bringing home a sheet to be signed stating how the assignment is to be completed and the day they are presenting.

·         Finish article from class-due tomorrow
