Language Arts: 

6^th Grade: Started a writing lesson on writing a letter of complaint. Students evaluated a letter for problems and solutions to the problem.

5^th Grade: Same lesson as 6^th grade.

Homework:  Remember to read nightly.

·         As always you will need a chapter book for class tomorrow!!

·         R and E is due Wednesday, February 26th

Social Studies: Worked on lesson 7.

Homework:

·         We will have the lesson 7 test on Thursday

Science Literacy:

          Girls read: Remember to look for a book with your group.

Reminders:

6^th Grade: Worked on a reading strategy, “Contrast and Contradiction” using a short story. Students will apply this strategy with their independent reading book tomorrow in class.

6^th Grade: Completed an on-demand writing assignment based on argumentative essay. We also finished R and E presentations.  Students shared their advertisement homework.
