6^th Grade Language Arts:

Worked on Signpost reading today. Narratives were returned today.  Revisions for a better grade are due on Tuesday, December 8th

5^th Grade Language Arts:

·         Worked on reading strategies today. Narratives were returned and can be revised for a higher grade. Revised copy is due on Tuesday, December 8^th

Homework:

·         Read nightly

·         Word of the Day quiz is on Friday, December 4th

·         Spelling is due on Friday, December 4^th

December R and E is due on Wednesday, December 16th

Words their Way (Spelling) : 

·         Today we started are spelling program.  Students are grouped based on a spelling assessment given last month.  They worked with the teacher that was in charge of their sort.  They were assigned homework to complete nightly.  They will be tested on Friday.  We will have this class every Friday afternoon.

Social Studies:  Finished lesson 5.  Lesson 5 test will be on Monday, December 7^th.

Homework:

·         Lesson 5 review is due tomorrow

·         Drafted narrative. The rough draft is due tomorrow. Make sure you highlight elements in your story.  Follow the checklist from class.

·         Be ready to revise with a partner tomorrow.

5^th Grade Language Arts:

Language Arts:

6th Grade:  Began Word of the Day.  Students received today's word and wrote the definition and began the work page.  Worked on narrative.  Some students are starting revisions.

5th Grade: Began Word of the Day. Students will need to work on sentence writing and page completion nightly. Worked on narrative. Drat needs to be typed by Wednesday and revisions will need to start on Thursday.

Social Studies:  Turned in processing homework.  Received study guide for lesson 4.
