Language Arts:

·        6^th Grade: We read chapter 9 in Watson’s go to Birmingham.  We worked on reading strategies and answering questions about the reading.

5^th  Grade: Same lesson as 6^th grade

 

·        Homework:

• Read for 20 minutes or more nightly.

Social Studies:   Corrected the review and began lesson 36.  We worked on the vocabulary for the lesson.  They are to write the vocab word,  draw a picture of the word, define it, and write a sentence using the word correctly.

Homework: 

• Complete vocab and preview for lesson 36

• Lesson 12 test on Thursday, March 7^th.
