Language Arts: 

6^th Grade:  Turned in grammar packet and began working on the features of a literary essay. We listened to the story “Baseball Saved Us” and they will evaluate a literary essay on the story.  They also received their spelling.

5^th : Same lesson as 6^th grade.

Homework:

·         Remember to read nightly and complete signpost worksheet

·         R and E due January 21st

·         You must have a chapter book in school

·         Spelling due on Tuesday, January 20th.

·         Literary essay sheet

Social Studies;  Students presented their current events and we started creating a review for lesson 11.

Homework :  Lesson 11 test on Friday.

Science Literacy:  No class today
