6^th Grade Language Arts:  Continued working on  Signpost poster on book club book. We will continue to work on this project tomorrow in class. This will be due on Friday.

5^th Grade Language Arts: Same lesson as 6^th grade. 

Homework:

·         Word of the day packet due on Thursday (1-7-16) for 6^th Grade

·         Word of the day quiz on Monday, January 11^th

·         5^th grade adverb packet and quiz on Monday, January 11th

Word Study

·         Today we started are spelling program.  Students are grouped based on a spelling assessment given last month.  They worked with the teacher that was in charge of their sort.  They were assigned homework to complete nightly.  They will be tested on Friday.  We will have this class every Friday afternoon.

Social Studies: Finished reading lesson 6 and worked on reading notes.  Reading notes are due tomorrow.

Homework: Finish reading notes if you did not finish in class

·         Lesson 6 test is next Thursday, January 14^th.

·         Current events start next week
