6th Grade: Continued to revise personal narrative. We will have one more class period to work on
this assignment. We also began an
analyzing reading activity. We will
continue to work on a variety of these types of activities to prepare for our novel
unit we will be starting soon.
5th Grade: Same lesson as 6th grade

Social Studies: Test taking strategies. We took the multiple choice section
of lesson 1 test together. We talked about how to take a test and practiced
those concepts.
We
also began lesson 3. We completed the preview and received the vocabulary.
Homework: Lesson 3
Vocabulary is due on Friday.
Science Literacy: Students were assigned
roles for the mock election for Governor.
They began working in teams.
Homework: Remember to have our Governor packet in
school every day!
