Language Arts:
            Worked on informational writing today.  Students received their spelling packets for the week.
Homework:
  • Read for 20 minutes
  • R and E due on Tuesday, May 1st
  • 5th grade spelling: you must write sentences with your spelling words. You may write in cursive or type.

1.     Finish reading Eagle Rock Independently

2.    You must complete five (5) entries based on the whole novel.

3.    You are to pick any responses from the back of the book.

4.    You must write the response you are choosing.

5.    The response must be at least 6-8 sentences in length. They must have a topic sentence and a concluding sentence.  You can restate the question in your answer.

6.    Must be in cursive.

7.    No spelling or grammar errors.

8.    These are due on Thursday

Today the students participated in a Disability Awareness workshop. They did a variety of act ivies bases on physical and learning disabilities.  Please ask your child on some of the activities they participated in and how it felt to have some form of disability.

We did any have any academic classes today. Please remember the homework that is due tomorrow.
