Language Arts:
  • 6th Grade:  Continued working on our book club project. Make sure you have a new book to read. Fictional stories were returned today.  If you receive a score lower then 70, you must revise for an improved grade. Those who scored higher then 70, may also revise for a better grade, but it is not required.  The revised papers are due on January 4th.

  • 6th Grade: Today Mrs. Martin came in and showed us how the use the programs. “Co Writer” and “Write out Loud.”  These are great tools to help students with their writing. Parents can check these programs out of the media center and load them onto their computer.
  • We also meet with our “Book Club” partner and began reading.

We had our election today. The winner of the POPULAR vote in the BURNS homeroom is Romney/Ryan – Camillia and Sam.
