Our first "Tie Tuesday." Look at these GREAT kids!

Language Arts: We continued to work on our essay writing. We shared our writing from last night and continued to work from our observations around the school.

Homework: 

• Read for 20 minutes.
• Watch  lesson 3 video from Mrs. Cook’s Wiki.  http://cookwilkie11.wikis.birmingham.k12.mi.us/Unit+2
• Be ready to answer questions about the video tomorrow.
• R and E due February  15^th. No food, word searches or crosswords this time. Remember you have to do something that you have not done before.

Word Study:   Grammar packet. They are due on Monday, February 6th.

                                

Social Studies: Began lesson 8

Language Arts: We began our unit on essay writing.

Homework: 

• Read for 20 minutes.
• Tonight make a T-Chart on what you notice at home and what it made you think. Then turn it into an essay. This is still a rough draft but try to make it as detailed as possible. It is due TOMORROW!
• R and E due February  15^th. No food, word searches or crosswords this time. Remember you have to do something that you have not done before.

Word Study:  Today the students took their spelling test and received a grammar packet.  They are due on Monday, February 6th.

                                

Social Studies: NO class today.

Social Studies: We worked on Time for Kids and discussed the shipwreck in Italy.

Word Study:  The students received grammar packet. They are due on Monday, January 23^rd. 6^th Grade you will have a quiz on all the prepositions on Monday!!  Remember to study.
