Today we worked as a 54 and began our ENGAGE unit of building towers. We got into groups and talked about the importance of teamwork. Since we worked on our Engage unit today for 2 class periods we did not have social studies. We will begin social studies tomorrow.
Language Arts:
Today we set up our Reader's Notebook and began logging the novels we are reading. We also wrote letters to Mrs. Burns so she can get to know us better.
Homework:
- Review expectations with parents and sign the sheet. Please return signed sheet by Friday, Sept. 9th.
- Decorate your Writer's Notebook. Decorated book due Monday, September 12th
- Decorate you Reader's Notebook. Decorated book due Wednesday, September 14th
- Bring a CHAPTER book EVERYDAY!
