Language Arts: Today we read for 20 minutes in the media center. We also wrote a summary of a book we have read during the 1st marking period and turned in our reading log. In Writer’s Workshop, we continued to work on adding exciting “Grabbers or Leads” to our writing.

Grammar: grammar packets were given out today. 6th grade has a review packet that is due on THURSDAY. 6th grade will have a parts of speech test on Monday.
5th Grade received a NOUN packet and it is due on Monday.
Social Studies: We continued lesson 5 on European Explorers.
