Language Arts:
· 6th Grade: We continued to work the short story, “Papa’s Parrot.” Today, we did some revisions and will need a final copy tomorrow with the following requirements listed below.
· 5th Grade: Same lesson as 6th grade. Remember pronoun packet is due on Wednesday!
· Homework:
- Revise your Papa’s Parrot essay. It must be typed. Tomorrow you need to turn in your boxes and bullets, rough draft and typed final of Papa’s Parrot.
- Revising Papa's Parrot:
- Locate and underline specific details such as proper names, exact quotes and precise actions.
- Say things like: When the narrator states... this shows that..
When (the character) says.... this shows that...
- Read for 20 minutes or more nightly.
- April R and E due April 19th
Social Studies: Completed further reading on the Ganges River. Received a worksheet on reading. Assigned three activities today. Processing in your ISN They are all due tomorrow.
Homework: Lesson 13 test will be on Thursday, April 18th.
