Language Arts: 

6^th Grade: Worked on a reading strategy, “Contrast and Contradiction” using a short story. Students will apply this strategy with their independent reading book tomorrow in class.

5^th Grade: Same lesson as 6^th grade.

Homework:  Remember to read nightly.

·         As always you will need a chapter book for class tomorrow!!

Social Studies:  Began lesson 7.  Worked on vocabulary.

Homework:

·         Vocabulary assignment due tomorrow.

·         We will have the lesson 7 test next week.  Date still to be determined.

Science Literacy:

          Girls read: Remember to look for a book with your group.

Reminders:

• Pop cans for Project Cope. If we raise $2,000 we will see a special dance from Mr. Morawski and Mrs. Chinn
