We had a great first day yesterday and we are ready to work today!  We started academics with math and language arts. We will add science and social studies later this week.

Language Arts:  We set up our writer's and reader's notebooks.  Decorated notebooks are due on Monday, September 8th. 

Students were also introduced to the 40 Book Challenge.  All students will be challenged to read 40+ book this year.  

* Students need a chapter book in school every day starting tomorrow.

Summer packet work is due on Friday, September 5th.


Reminders:  Water festival field trip permission slips are due on Friday, September 5th

* We go to the Water Festival on Tuesday, September 9th.
* We leave for camp on Wednesday,  September 10th
