Language Arts: We continued to work on poetry and visited the book fair

We also worked on book club reading activities to get us prepared for our book clubs that will be starting after Thanksgiving.

Homework: 

• MOODLE poetry assignment. Watched presentation and complete quiz.  DUE TOMORROW!
• Read for 20 minutes
• Criterion due on Friday
• Create wiki page for reading response journal. This is response is due on Friday.

Word Study:  NO class today

Grammar:  6^th grade grammar packet due on Monday, November 21^st

Language Arts: Today we read for 20 minutes in the media center. We also wrote a summary of a book we have read during the 1^st marking period and turned in our reading log.  In Writer’s Workshop, we continued to work on adding exciting “Grabbers or Leads” to our writing.

Grammar:  grammar packets were given out today.  6^th grade has a review packet that is due on THURSDAY.  6^th grade will have a parts of speech test on Monday.
