Language Arts:
  • 6th Grade: We read chapter 7 and 8  in Watson’s Go to Birmingham.  Writing prompts on chapters 6-8.  Due Monday.
·           5th Grade:  Read chapters 7 and 8 in Watson. No prompts this weekend.

Homework:
  • Read for 20 minutes or more nightly.
  • Spelling due on Monday
  • Read A Thon on Monday (March 4th) It is PJ day!  Bring some good books to read and snacks to eat!
  • 6th grade reading prompts:

* Prompts must be written out. You may print these.
* Spelling counts
* Responses must be in cursive.
Chapter 6 Reading Prompt
1. Do you think "Daddy Cool" is really cool? Why or why not? Why do you think he acts the way he does? Would you be friends with him? Explain your answers.
Chapter 7 Reading Prompt:
1. What do you think are the THREE funniest parts of this chapter? Explain in detail.
Chapter 8
1. How does the author create suspense in this chapter? What does the reader want to know? How does Curtis keep the reader dangling on a string?

Social Studies:  Received lesson 11 test. Read Junior Scholastic. Complete the following articles and lessons at home.
