6^th Grade Language Arts:  Students took word of the day quiz. 

5^th Grade Language Arts: Students turned in adverb packet, took adverb and word of the day quiz. 

Homework:

·         Think about topic for on-demand pretest tomorrow

·         Read nightly

·         Spelling due on Friday

Word Study

·         Today we started are spelling program.  Students are grouped based on a spelling assessment given last month.  They worked with the teacher that was in charge of their sort.  They were assigned homework to complete nightly.  They will be tested on Friday.  We will have this class every Friday afternoon.

Social Studies: Worked on lesson 6 processing poster and lesson 6 review.

Homework:

·         Lesson 6 processing and review due tomorrow

·         Lesson 6 test is next Thursday, January 14^th.

·         Current events start next week
