6^th Grade Language Arts: Rough draft of Lunch reform essay due tomorrow.

5^th Grade Language Arts: The first two paragraphs of the lunch reform essay is due tomorrow.

Homework:

·         Read nightly

·         School lunch reform essay due on Friday. If you are leaving early for vacation, please email it to me.

Word Study

·         Today we started are spelling program.  Students are grouped based on a spelling assessment given last month.  They worked with the teacher that was in charge of their sort.  They were assigned homework to complete nightly.  They will be tested on Friday.  We will have this class every Friday afternoon.

Social Studies: Went over review and worked on mapping for the test.

Homework:

·         Lesson 7 test will be next week Wednesday.

·         Colony mapping test with capitals will be with the lesson 7 test.

Reminders:

·         Valentines party on February 12^th.  If you are bringing Valentines’ you must bring for everyone.  We have 55 students.
